„Before coming to Kulmbach, I studied Pharmaceutical Sciences in Egypt and worked in the pharmaceutical industry and as a nutrition and fitness coach. I chose the Food System Sciences master's programme mainly because I wanted to specialize in Nutrition Physiology. Throughout the programme, I gained hands-on research experience and learned different laboratory techniques. For my master’s thesis, I am exploring the interaction between the gut and the immune system. These experiences further developed my interest in nutrition and physiology. After graduation, I plan to pursue a PhD and continue on an academic or scientific career path.“

Learning the shared basics in the first semester before my Bioeconomy specialization provided a solid foundation.
